What Benitachell is like
The village itself is inland, among vineyards and almond trees. The coast is something else: cliffs dropping into the sea and a development, Cumbre del Sol, built on top, with open views in almost every direction.
Below is Cala Moraig, a pebble cove with the Cova dels Arcs beside it, sea-carved caves you can see from the shore. To the north, the coast carries on towards Granadella, in Jávea.
It suits people who want views, fresh air and quiet. For dinner, shopping or a sandy beach, you'll usually drive.
