Holiday rentals on the Benissa coast
Benissa has two sides: the old town inland and, below it, four kilometres of rocky coastline with small coves. Our houses are on the coast, next to Cala Baladrar, a few minutes' drive from Moraira.
What the Benissa coast is like
The Benissa coast has no big sandy beaches or shop-lined promenades. It has coves: Baladrar, Advocat, La Fustera, l'Illa de Benissa. Clear water between the rocks, good for an early swim and for snorkelling.
The houses here sit in developments above the sea, with gardens and pools. It suits people who want calm and few crowds, and don't mind driving out for dinner. Moraira is very close, with Calp and the Peñón de Ifach a little further south.
Up in the hills, Benissa's old town is worth an afternoon: stone streets and the church of the Purísima Xiqueta, known locally as the cathedral of the Marina Alta.

Frequently asked questions
Are there sandy beaches on the Benissa coast?
Very few. The coast is mostly rock and small coves. For sand, Moraira and the Arenal in Jávea are a short drive away.
Do I need a car?
Yes. The houses are in developments by the sea; for shopping or eating out you'll normally drive.
What's nearby?
Moraira, a few minutes away. Calp and the Peñón de Ifach to the south. Jávea, roughly half an hour.
Are Villa Vistes and Casita Baladrar licensed holiday rentals?
Yes. Both are registered and can be booked for short stays.
