What are the Fogueres of Xàbia? 🔥
The Fogueres de Sant Joan are the patron saint festivities of Xàbia, or Jávea, celebrated in honour of Saint John since the middle of the 20th century. For more than a week, the streets of the old town are filled with colour, gunpowder, live music, offerings, parades, and traditional events that culminate with the eagerly awaited Cremà.
It is one of the best times to visit Xàbia if you want to soak up its culture, share with the locals and experience an authentic Mediterranean festival.
