1. The Cliff Trail (SL-CV 50)
It is, without a doubt, the crown jewel of coastal hiking in the province. A path that seems suspended between the sky and the sea.
This route connects the famous Cala del Moraig with the secluded Cala Llebeig. The most special part is passing by the “pesqueres,” old structures where locals used to climb down vertical cliffs to fish.
- Difficulty:Medium difficulty. The path is narrow in some sections and the terrain is uneven.
- Route:Approximately 4 km (round trip). It starts at the upper parking lot of Cala del Moraig.
- Points of interest:The caves of the old fishermen carved into the rock and the arrival at Cala Llebeig, a virgin corner inaccessible by car.
Where to stay:Being in the heart of this area, there’s nothing better than Zen Summit Its minimalist atmosphere and endless views are the perfect continuation of the peace you will feel on this route.
2. Route of the Moraig Fault and Cave of the Arcs
A short route but of incalculable geological and visual value.
A tour around Cala del Moraig to observe the famous Fault (a natural monument where the displacement of the earth can be seen) and the iconic Cave of the Arches.
- Difficulty:It’s low. It’s more of a technical and photographic observation walk.
- Route: Less than 2 km. It focuses on the cliff area surrounding the beach of Moraig.
- Points of interest:The one herselfCave of the Arches(essential for photographers) and the view of the fault wall, which rises vertically above the sea.
Where to stay:To maintain that calm and adventurous spirit, we recommend Villa Herben Its location near the Cumbre del Sol directly invites you to visit this corner of Benitatxell.
Routes on the coast of Jávea
3. Cap Prim and the Bay of Portitxol
If you could only do one route in Jávea, this should be it. It offers one of the most famous views in the Mediterranean.
A path that runs along the narrow strip of land separating Barraca Bay from the cliffs to the north. You walk on a rocky ridge with the sea on both sides.
- Difficulty:Medium-Low difficulty. Only requires attention at the cliff edges.
- Route:About 2.5 km (round trip) from the Mirador de la Cruz del Portitxol.
- Points of interest:The view of Portitxol Island from the tip of the Cape (Cap Prim) and the optional descent to Cala Barraca with its famous blue doors.
Where to stay:Such a special route deserves a house with its own personality. Villa Valentina With its “cute” and colorful style, it is the perfect refuge to rest after visiting this corner of Jávea.
4. From Cabo de la Nao to Mirador de la Falzia
The area where the cliff becomes more dramatic and the coast breaks into small, secret coves.
A tour of the highest part of the cliffs of Jávea, linking the imposing Cabo de la Nao Lighthouse with strategic viewpoints located on walls more than 100 meters high.
- Difficulty:Downhill. Most of the route follows comfortable paths and designated viewpoints.
- Route:About 3 km linear exploring the different natural balconies.
- Points of interest:The Cabo de la Nao Lighthouse (the closest point to Ibiza) and the Mirador de la Falzia, from where you have the highest and clearest view of the entire bay.
Where to stay:Such a special route deserves a fitting end. Dream Village It is the perfect place to disconnect after a day of sun and altitude, enjoying a unique, relaxing environment with spectacular views.
